Due to inclement weather, power outages, and intermittent road closures, Pepperdine officials have cancelled classes on the Malibu campus Friday afternoon, January 20, 2017. All other campuses remain open and classes are in session at this time. Staff are also released except for Critical Support Personnel. Staff departing campus should coordinate with their supervisors.

Multiple routes to the Malibu campus are closed. Currently, the following routes to the Malibu campus are closed:

  • PCH south of campus from the Getty Villa to Sunset Blvd.
  • Malibu Canyon Road
  • Topanga Canyon Blvd.

The greater Los Angeles area is expecting to see large storms through the weekend, which may result in additional road closures on Monday morning. As conditions change, updates will be available on the Road Conditions Hotline at 310.506.7623 (ROAD).
